In the 7th installment of Serpents of Serant we get a story centered around the only human male to crash land on Serant, Reid. He meets Sazzie, the reluctant princess of the Thunderrock clan. This book builds on the last but can easily be read as a standalone.

Reid sees the side of Sazzie that few ever have. He understands her in a way no one ever has before. As their relationship blooms, they have to navigate the complicated tribe politics of Serant during times of great change.

The love story was sweet and low angst. I personally enjoy it when characters don't waver back and forth. They both knew what they wanted and went for it.

Overall I did find this storyline less interesting than others in the series, but I still enjoyed the book. I will continue to read along to see what happens next with this amazing cast of characters.
