If the characters entertain me and my side is in stitches from laughing so much It’s a guaranteed 5-start read. This was a fun book where Arkan crashes into Maggie's life on Earth. In her attempt to assist him, they both end up captured and thrown in a cell on a spaceship. When the opportunity to escape arrises Arkan, Maggie, and her battle goose Ken seize the day and hilarity ensues.

This book is SHORT so it leaves the reader with many questions about the world we are being introduced to. I’ll give the author a pass because this is the start of a new series (I think? I actually can’t find any details online). The only thing I didn’t like was how overly southern Maggie’s jargon was, it seemed like every possible southern slang was jammed into 100 pages.
